Really good quality! Thick knit straw that protects you from the sun and does not let light through, which also shades your eyes completely! The ribbon is a nice silk material and is sewn into the hat at one point so that it does not get lost or blown off. The brim is as wide as it is in the pictures/description. The packaging it comes in protects the hat from any ugly creasing or damage. You can pull it right out of the bag and use it without steaming or starching it. Hat also comes with perfect waves folded into the fabric just like the picture displays. Sits nicely on the head, with some room in the top portion to fit hair nicely inside. And even has a silk drawstring inside the hat to adjust sizing without making it uncomfortable, didn’t even notice it until I took it off to take a picture of the interior!
