How To Upgrade Your Classic Shirts

Classic Shirts are also commonly known as casual shirts or t-shirts, which were originally manufactured by the American tobacco companies. The collars of the shirts were usually made of knitted material and there would be one pocket on the inside of the shirt. There was a zipper in the front and back of the pocket as well as two outside buttons – which later on were turned into pockets, and then they later became stitched into the fabric of the shirt. The classic shirt has no sleeve, and if you look really close, you will even be able to see the outline of a sleeve on the inside of the pocket.

Nowadays, this is a classic shirt that can be worn for casual occasions. It has been designed so that it can also be worn with jeans and with a t-shirt or even with a tank top, which is perfect for the summer. But the best thing about this type of shirt is that it has the ability to work with any kind of cut, the crew cut or the crew neck. So whether you want to go slim or you want to go thick, this type of shirt is the one for you.

When people think of classic shirts, they think of course of the cotton ones, of course! These are the shirts that made famous by Marlon Brando and are still popular today. The classic cotton shirt has the ability to never lose its shape or fall apart, even when worn daily. If you have one of these shirts, then you know that when the seasons change, it just needs to be washed and then put back on again. But since it does not, the collar still moves up and down, creating a collar shape with the shirt. This is why classic shirts with the classic cuffs are a go-to choice for both men and women, regardless of their shape or size.

Women love to wear dress shirts, which explains why they are a staple in every woman’s closet. But for the men who are looking for something a little more edgy, there are a few options available as well. These options include the fly front, long sleeve, and short sleeve. The difference between these shirts is that the long and short sleeves are probably more suitable for work attire, and the fly front would probably be better suited for more casual or dressier occasions.

Of course the classic white shirt collar still remains, and that is something that just about everybody should own. There are several classic collar styles to consider, and of course there is the basic collar. But when you really want to stand out from the crowd, then you should consider some of the French cufflinks, which feature a classic button design. The classic white collar can be updated by adding a French cuff link to it, and then you have a cocktail look that will make everyone sit up and take notice. Of course the classic white tie formal shirts feature the same design, but if you do not like the color, then you can replace the white tie with black or even gray.

Another great way to jazz up your classic collar is with a new small collar. This works especially well for men who like to accentuate their neck area, whether with a small collar or not. Some of the most popular small collar shirts include the pre-tied (where you simply knot one end), the cross-over (where you will tie 2 separate necklines together) as well as the three-quarter (which features 3 buttons on one side). If you are going for a slightly smaller collar, then you will probably be better off opting for the classic white or gray small collar. On the other hand, if you want to go for something a little more edgy, then consider the bold or bright colored collars, which feature either a solid color (not too noticeable) or an animal print. The animal prints and small prints are probably the trendiest among small collars.

If you want to create a very formal look, then you can also opt for a v-neck or a banded shirt placket to dress it up even more. A v-neck is great for any occasion, while a banded shirt placket is perfect for work, evening and sports attire. To make sure that your outfit looks sharp and professional at the office, it is recommended that you select solid colors like black, navy blue or dark gray, and never try to wear brighter colors such as yellow, pink or neon green. These brighter colors tend to make you look much younger than you really are.

Last but not least, one great way to update your vintage wardrobe is by wearing a jacket with a classic collar. For example, a charcoal colored cotton woolen jacket with a small plain collar can be very stylish. You may also want to wear a checkered cotton knit vest with a button-down collar and leave the rest of your ensemble plain. In addition to looking great, this will also make you look much more professional as your coat or vest will hide your un-coordinated shirt sleeves.
